The area around the villa

The location offers tranquility close to the nature of the gorge but, the advantage of staying a few minutes away from everything!

Villa Milli is located in an area close to Roussospiti and Chromonastiri villages just at the edge of the gorge “Milli” near to Rethymno town centre (7km) and close to the beach (4km). In both villages you will be able to find supplies, great traditional food and will maybe have an opportunity to mix with the locals who are very hospitable to guests! Furthermore, the beautiful Mili Gorge is ideal for a nature walk.

Its convenient location and surrounding area makes it a perfect destination for a relaxing holiday, since it is within walking distance from many taverna’s options, as well as traditional cafes, while within just 10 minutes driving the guests will find the beautiful sandy beach of Rethymno. Chromonastiri village offers a 5X5 football field and a children’s playground. Roussospiti village situated next to Chromonastiri offers two tavernas, a playground and a mini market. 

Additionally, Rethymno town, which is 15 minutes away by car, offers all the amenities guests will need, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and ATM machines, restaurants, cafes and bars, a post office. It also offers many sightseeing spots, such as the Fortezza fortress, the Venetian harbour, several mosques, the municipal garden and more. Last but not least, several picturesque villages are within close proximity and from the village you can easily reach the highway leading to Chania and Heraklion cities.
